Q: Is the Cisco & Nutanix solution just another "me too" product out there?
A: Emphatic NOPE! There are a lot of features, functions, and programs that Cisco brings to market that differentiates the partnership with Nutanix from other OEMs.

Q: How does Cisco develop the Nutanix solution?
A: Joint efforts between both engineering teams. Nothing is done in silos.

Q: How does support work between Cisco and Nutanix?
A: Support organizations are eBonded (directly connected) where case nodes are synchronized between both organizations with instant case routing enabled.

Q: Can Cisco can include Nutanix licenses with Cisco Capital and Enterprise Agreements?
A: Yup!

Q: Does Cisco sells dedicated HCI appliances that can only ever run Nutanix software?
A: Nope, no way. That goes against the vision.

Q: Is Cisco Intersight required to deploy the Nutanix solution?
A: Yes - and all different Intersight offerings are supported (SaaS, CVA, PVA)

Q: Should I use Cisco deployment guides?
A: Yes - using anything else can make the deployments fail.

Q: Are Fabric Interconnects required?
A: No - you can deploy using any top-of-rack switch.

Q: Can Cisco transact the entire Nutanix software portfolio?
A: Yes - customers can transact everything through Cisco.

Q: Can I deploy using the more traditional way with Nutanix Foundation VM?
A: No! This will fail. Please don't do this. The only way is to use Foundation Central.

Q: Which deployment models are supported with Cisco & Nutanix?
A: Technically, all three are supported (ISM/IMM/UMM). But please avoid deploying with UMM if at all possible.
